Is this the one who works in the prison? If it is the police it would be police officer. Department of Corrections Officer? I am not sure, but I do like these professional titles better. Not admistrative assistant for secretary, but I do like police officer, firefighter and others they sound stronger for the strong names the play. Soldier in stead of army man. Administrative Assistant is confusing. These other names make more sense. Secretary did not have to be changed it was fine.
I like something with Reinforcement Officer Like Detention Reinformcent Officer. They are not babysitters. Ideally only people who need to be in jail are in there and we do not want those hardened people in there.

prison guard yet inmates call 'em "cop" There's no "correcting" being done in prison.
This job really is the toughest beat. All you deal with are convicted felons- murderers, child molesters, rapist, etc.
Many of you think you know what it's like but unless you've been there, done that, you have no idea.
