It is a humble invitation to a truth, which is revealed by God (Allah-almighty) to the total mankind, up on Prophet Muhammad (Peace be up on Him) as revealed before on Prophets Moses (Mosa), Jesus (Isa) and other Prophets (Peace be up on them all). But now only 100% purely existing religion in this world is Islam! And only purely 100% existing revelation is Holy Qur'an All other revelations are corrupted! The only true God Allah-almighty/our creator/the creator of universe says in Qur'an (V51: 56) that "And I (Allah) created not the Jinn and Mankind except that they should worship Me (Allah alone)". As well as in (Qur'an 3:64) Allah says that "O people of the Scripture! Come to a Word that is Just between us (Muslim) and you, that we worship none but Allah (Alone), and that we associate no partners with Him (Allah), and that none of us shall take others as Lords (Gods) besides Allah. Then, if they turn away, say: Bear witness that we are Muslims (truly submitted/obeying to only-God)".

It is not uncommon for a guy to follow the girls custom and traditions out of love and respect.
If you ask a Muslim of course it is good.
If you ask a Christian then it is bad. Going to the Islamic faith means that you are rejecting Jesus as your God and Saviour. This is the most serious sin you can do against Jesus. The Bible also tells you to marry a Christian but if you don't then the Bible says do not let your marriage compromise your faith. How strong is your faith in Christianity? Are you really willing to compromise your own eternity?
Have you spoken to yr girlfriend about this? Is she willing to give up her faith to marry you and become a Christian? If she comes to know Jesus then both of you can also spend rest of eternity together. Wouldn't that be better?

Religion is not important, the answers you need are recieved through faith, not religion. Religion is a practice, in other words things you do every day, repeatedly. Faith is a state of mind where you remain open to teaching from a spiritual sense. The one thing all religions have in common is prayer, which is the way we communicate with the guiding spirit, or Great Teacher, also known as God. Peace is the test of the validity of spiritual teaching. If you have peace with it, then it is of God. Communication can only be achieved when your mind is clear and open so that you can listen. Practice makes perfect, may I suggest you practice a great deal before making a decision of such magnitude.

if you are going to change to another religion ,you should do that cuz you want that and don't care about what others might think about it
its your life ,your rule ,why asking others ,you should have more faith in yourself
you know sometimes the best decision comes from our heart .specially when its related to faith , you choose ,you judge
by the way i am Muslim so i cant tell you what to do cuz you should do what you think is right not what anyone else think is right .
so be sure you wanna do that and when you do ,be sure that Allah will always be with you .
but from my personal experience ,( i became a Muslim from 3 years too, however i was born Muslim but i wasn't practicing Islam ) Islam change my life to be a better person in all aspect of life
Islam is gift but needs commitment to feel how amazing that gift is
if you become Muslim ( wish i hope that to happen) i will say welcome to Islam bro

There is nothing wrong with changing religion if you feel the new one will be more suitable for you. However, having looked at Islam closely, I would strongly recommend that you stay away from it. Not only are there errors in the Qur'an (so its claim to be the word of Allah is silly), but you will complicate your life considerably -- and unnecessarily.

I say go ahead. Who cares if other people say its wrong, you have the right to make your own desicions. I have changed my religion before.... I was born Christian, raised Kemetic, and recently joined Wicca. Alot of people frown at my desicion, but I am comfertable with what I believe. And if a 15 year old can do it, so can you!!!
Blessed be!!!!

It is good. it is a sign of growth, more understanding of all religions is beneficial. to only know about one religion is to remain ignorant and narrowminded. If you feel that Islam is the truth, then pursue it, don't let others tell you what to believe in, it is your beliefs, your spiritaulity, noone elses but your own.

Whether it is good or bad depends on your reason for converting.
I believe that it is good to convert to another religion if you strongly believe and agree with it's beliefs.
I believe it is not good to convert to another religion because someone else wants you to. For example - if you were converting because you were marrying someone of that faith, I think it is a bad idea to convert for that reason.
