Im a brunette and i want my hair blonde. How can i make it blonde without it goin orange? I used a dirty blonde hair dye and it showed no results. Do i use bleach and then dye it or what? Help!

Your best chance is to go to the salon... but if you are really courageous then you can buy a box of blondissma you might have to be orange for a bit just keep trying, it will damage your hair REALLY badly though... that is why the salon is worth it. Besides the salon is more expensive to begin with because you will get the results you want and then you shouldn't have to pay as much to keep it up afterwards... just get the roots touched up every few months! drastically changing your hair color like that isn't a good idea to do at home. seek professional advice at your hair salon...if you are stubborn or don't have the money, a frosting kit will bleach your hair blonde without orange...but blonde dye will not.

SALON SALON SALON... never dye it yourself, unless you really dont like those locks on top of your head. Doing it yourself will do nothing but ruin your hair... i did it once.. yes one time only, and that is it... ever since then it has only been professionally done, and whatever you do, do not use bleach in your hair. not only will your hair be trashed, but your hair will smell horrible!!

you can try hair salon, they should know better. i have a black hair and have blond highlights, i did it in the salon. i think they bleach my hair before they apply the color.

Definitely go to a Salon. They will have to bleach it though but yeah you MUST go there.

if you do it first time go to salon, but you can also learn to do it your self, any supermarket or pharmacy sells plenty of product for coloring hair...
