I have Klisph KG2 speakers bought in 1988. Great condition--notta scratch. What are they worth?

Klipsch KG2 speakers may not be true classics like the folded-horn designs that Paul Klipsch developed (a.k.a. the Heritage Series) back when his first started his company and the speaker industry was just a fledgling, but they are popular within some audiophile circles and collectors of vintage audio gear.

The Orion Audio Blue Book value is currently at $51 to $152 in Oak or Walnut ($58 to $173 in Black) finish, but you may get more for them from an enthusiast. Offer them on http://www.Craigslist.com or http://www.eBay.com with a hidden reserve and there's a good chance that you will get a decent price for them. Take at least a couple high quality pictures and include as much information and specs as you know of and can find. This will help the value of your speakers for sale.

E-mail me if they're still for sale, I remember this model, and would have bought a pair for myself back in 1984 if I could have afforded them at the time.

Just to note: the model number you're quoting no doubt is the serial number of one or both speakers.

Probably not very much. I don't think there is much of a market for 18 year old speakers, no matter the quality.
