That is a question I would never like to face! It is easy to say, "I would never renounce my faith in God" but do any of us really know what we would do when faced with that unique life or death situation.
I would like to think that I would choose the honorable thing and die for my faith in God, but you never know. It would not be that I am worried about my place in heaven, it is the question of wanting to accomplish certain things in life. I learned a long time ago to never say never because that answer will come back to haunt you.
As a christian I would say that I would rather die and go to heaven than renounce my faith.

It'd be easy to renounce my faith, for I have none. I am a man of Logic, not Faith. These two are irreconcilable opposites. There is no logical or scientific evidence that any gods exist, so I don't waste time on such imaginary stuff.

How can I renounce god since I do not believe? Since I did not believe in the first place, I am not to be killed, am I?

I would never renounce my faith in God. People who renounce in what they believe in have no spines. I choose freedom, though it may have a price. I am no ones slave to oppression.

You asked what I would do....I would like to think I would be killed and keep my faith in God intact.
More generally speaking, this question, when put this way gives the reader the idea that it is a dramatic and immediate event that would take place. In that situation, it is human nature to solidify their beliefs into strong, black and white decisions. However, your question, put on a smaller scale of day to day tedium in which we make decisions every minute or hour which either validate our belief or contradict our belief, tend to show we minimize the importance of "the small things."
Case in point: 9/11....Just prior to 9/11 our country as a whole would be complacent in our vocal loyalty and love of the United States of America. (indicating we tend to forget about what we say is important on a day to day basis, getting caught up instead in criticizing and blaming) After 9/11, the entire country solidified into a solid mass of American flags, loyalty, honor, tears, and pride in what the country stands for.
When we are asked to make a dramatic decision, we answer according to the beliefs we subscribe to. Otherwise we negotiate and compromise our belief system for the sake of our immediate wants. Sad to say, isn't it?
Also, along those lines, note that this complacency is not seen as much in many other countries or faiths as much as it is in the U.S. or western religions.

I will be honest in saying I have no clue. I have never been faced with this. I would like to say I would asked to be killed, but right now I am out of fellowship with God and my faith is weak.

I would choose death. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. If you have Jesus in your heart. God is the only answer. He has taken care of my self and my children. I have seen where He has taken care of other people in our church. We would all be fools to renounce God.

I would be killed. I would never renounce my faith in God. I want to go to Heaven, not Hell.
I feel sorry for those who don't believe.

I didn't renounce it last time and God didn't allow them to kill me.

I'd be killed. That way, there'd be no more sickness or pain or death or anything else! Just an eternity in the presence of Almighty God "ruling as kings and princes with Him".
