Hello ! Just looked at my passport . It"s stamped for Hong Kong I then took the train into China . At the custom house it was stamped for a small fee it gave me a single visit for five days and I had to stay in Shenzhen . custom house is not in the city. if no one to meet you get a cab. don"t over stay or travel more than about 17 miles. I did and the Army arrested me, They were very polite. but it cost much money have a nice time..

yes. you go into hong kong and then to shenzhen you are going in to mainland china. hong kong is a SAR.

you can go into shenzhen for a few days i think its 7 to 10 days and only stay in shenzhen with just a shenzhen visa but you can not travel out to the rest of china. you can also get that visa at the border. if you want to go into the rest of china you will need a china visa. there is a dozen travel agents that can get china visas for you on Peking Street in Hong Kong its in the lower part of Kowloon just off Nathan Road. There will be a old woman standing on the street handing out papers for travel to china and parts unknown.

yes. Hong Kong is considered a special area of China, and has its own visa/immigration rules. You will need a visa if you go into China after, and that can be done at the chinese consulte nearest to you, or the one in hong kong.
