the only incoherence is in the mind of those who don't understand science and the use of theory

I would not choose the word stupid, I think many people sincerely consider it the best choice.

you also are unspecific about which evolution you mean,
one serious problem is it is not a issue so much of the data as it is about what philosophical assumptions you make. If you assume the universe must be explained without God, then its all over.. philosophical materialism

but which evolution?

-nothing to something, big bang
this is a little like pulling a rabbit out of a hat, without a rabbit, without a hat and without a magician... it is a leap of irrationality

- formation of glaxies, stars and planets
in astronomy sometimes the more grandious the theory the less evidense there appears to be to support it

- formation of the moon
no slam dunk theory on this, our moon is a real cunundrum hows it got there

- non life ot life
the irreducable complexity and phenominal complexity of life and the huge information needed which cannot arise form random process is against this

- macro evolution, one animal type to another
there are too many revolutionary changes. Retile lung to bird lung are tooooo different .

- Ape to man
There is pitifully little to go on and the star witness Lucy the fossil, is more evidense against being a transition to human than evidense for it

in the end we have to go where the evidence leads, The Laetoli footfrints contemporary with Lucy is evidense people and Lucy lived at the same time

That fossils are a rare thing yet we can recreate what life was on the planet at a certain time by them. That there is no line of decent but a bush. That a creature can change family. That life could spontaneously generate in an oxygen atmosphere as opposed to ammonia, not once but at least twice in parallel.

Where is the missing link for evolution, where are the fossils for something that was evolving from one thing to another? A dog has always been a dog and a cow has always been a cow, there are varieties in species and variations and mutations, but each specie has always come from its kind, no evidence of a part cow part bird evolution that I know of....some of these people need to check out science and the Bible and evolution and the Bible.

Well, nobody was there to witness it. Evolutionism at least has more than one text to back it up, but it still goes back to nobody was there.

I don't understand why this is such a big point of debate. Who cares? Why not try and take care of the world right now--and the people in it?

The only reason people don't understand and accept evolution (which is a fact, not a theory), is because they refuse to expose themselves to it with an open mind and forget about all the little fairy tales their religion has brainwashed them with.

Their churches "teach" them about evolution, but it's incredibly biased and meant to make evolution to appear as absolute crap by representing it in an untruthful light.

well for one, you don't need faith to believe in it

two, it's much easier to go along with the theist majority here in the US

three, nobody wants to admit being related to a chimp

four, I'd rather just take what I was taught my whole life as truth(faith) than just think and research all the possiblities for myself

five, now you think of all the "incoherences" of creationism and email them to me

No but using the word incoherence instead of inconsistency is stupid squared ( stupid x stupid.......for the mathematically inept. )

Obviously we have another bible scholar in the making.Maybe you could write George Bush's speeches.

The only thing I don't understand about evolution is: if we evolved from apes, why are there still apes?
