Feeling different can be painful. Sometimes it feels like a bittersweet gift. It makes your life something special, but it also condemns you to a deep kind of loneliness because it's rare to find someone with whom you can share your feelings.
But there are moments when that "special knowledge" takes you over and fills you with great hope. I hope everyone has moments like that, moments of clarity when you feel a special connection with the universe and seem to "see through to the heart of things." It's like the universe has a heartbeat and you can feel it.
It's like first love. What a sublime, magical thing it is, but agonizing at the same time.

I believe consciousness and subconsciousness are threaded through a oneness. A source. A wholeness in consistancy. In other words, we all connect to one thing at the basis of our existances. Similarly to how we're all hooked up to one internet, all knowledge is one in a similar type of situation. Everything we know or could know is already in that knowledge databank. A certain awareness that people can connect to. Perhaps infinite but everything that could be imagined or perceived is contained in that portion of awareness. We harmonize to different aspects of it when we have a thought. Egotistically, Yes you can know more than another but on a universal basis there is nothing known that could not, have not, or will not be known by another on some level of existance. Although all other forms of intellect are valid, I usually find the most misleading forms of information are Other's thoughts, and secondly, emotions. Any type of feeling or situation given from these two sources is usually some form of delusion so to speak. You know the universe and you harmonize to it in a different way than others, therefore you must find your own answers to truly have the truth translated to you in words you can or will understand to help you reach your full potential as a person.

Have you ever listened to the song 'When He Was On The Cross'? I feel like I'm on an ego trip sometimes too, but rarely think I know something that others don't. I think people know what they know because they have to know it. Most sheltered people won't venture other religions and I think this is a shame. Even being a Christian I still learned what earlier Puritans and European Catholics did during the 'Witch Hunts'. I learned a little about Buddhism, Wicca, and other religions. I'm still a Christian and believe Jesus died on the Cross, was resurrected and was God's Son in the flesh. I think that we will know what we have to know for His glory, not for our own sakes. God Bless.

Yeah, I do. I knew that someone in my family had died before I even got the call. I have sort of a sixth sense, which I think is something like what you're talking about.
It was Jan 16, 2004. I was away at college and I was on the computer talking to one of my friends, when all of a sudden this wave of sadness just washed over me. I cried uncontrollably for ten minutes before I realized what was going on. It was 11:05 when I started. My stomach was in knots and that's when I knew it. I knew someone had just died in my family. I waited up till 2am, but I never got any phone calls. The next morning at 7am, my dad called. My grandmother had died the night before. Her time of death, I found out later, was 11:05pm.

It is not difficult to explain, it is called prophecy. In order to clarify what you are sensing, you must clear your mind through meditation and pray for answers. Listening can require patience and may not come immediately. Peace is the test of the validity of the source of your answers. This is not a religion, simply faith and the knowledge that all of the answers cannot be understood while our spirit or soul is in this cocoon we call a body. Learning requires the faith that the great teacher will reveal the answers to you as you are capable of understanding them.

Yes I feel I am more aware. I would speculate that you too are more aware. There are people all over the planet waking up and saying 'HEY! What's going on? This is crazy!' and we are two of them. I see things that other people seem to be blind too. Just enjoy it, learn from it and I have found, keep it to yourself most of the time. It makes people very hostile toward you if you let them know they are asleep.

Well, you do know something that nobody else knows. You know yourself. You know the intricate workings of your inner-mind that nobody else can ever truly understand. This leads you to see the world differently than everybody else sees it, and inevitably leads to you believing that you have some "secret knowledge" that everybody else seems ignorant about. I used to feel this way, maybe I still do. Eventually you'll learn that many of the people that you never suspected actually know a whole lot more than you (and me). It's an interesting concept.

Actually, I wish I did feel that way. Unfortunately, I usually feel that everything I think has already been thought of thousands (if not billions) of times in the past by other people. It makes me feel mediocre.
I think the only way to truly be original or creative is to either be a genius or insane.

You DO know something that the rest of the world does not know. You know how it feels to be you, and how it feels for you to spiritually connect to the universe.
It may feel that you are more aware, but understand that different people experience awareness in differet ways. Maybe that is the difference that you are feeling.
