No, and I guess you want proof. Check out an ABC news report on reincarnation, just use Yahoo search and put in reincarnation, it will show an ABC news report done in 2004 which is the closest I have ever seen to proof beyond a shadow of a doubt. I say no because we are not the ones to decide if our spirit needs to come back to learn more before it is prepared to move on to the next phase of learning. This body is only a cocoon where we learn the natural instincts we need to survive in the spiritual world. Somewhere in the past we learned the natural instincts we needed to survive this phase of our learning. I don't have all the answers, just the faith to have the patience to wait for them.

There wouldn't be the idea of reincarnation without life and death.
Well, whether death is only once ? I do not remember the last time I died. There are some pretending and convinced to remember former lifes.
I am not against the idea of reincarnation. I accept this idea. But I definitely cannot tell anything about any experience with it. However, what others tell about this topic sounds interesting to me.

Yes, the birth is the entry and the death is the exit from one incarnation.

Not everybody reincarnates. You have to earn your lifetimes, and make sure that you use them constructively.

Statistically speaking, most people just exist, and may, just as, well not believe in reincarnation, as it is of no relevance to them.

Reincarnation is the cycle of birth, life, death and repeat the process until you learn everything you need to learn.

Well of course. Reincarnation is life after death, isn't it!

If you believe in reincarnation, then death is just the transition that is necessary before you have your next life.

Reincarnation means by definition you are born and die many times here in the physical realms. I know it is true from direct intuitive personal experience. For others it is a matter of belief (Hindu, Buddhist, Jain) or disbelief (Chrstian, Jew, Muslim). It was also Christian teaching until the Roman Emperor (!) Justinian had it removed in AD 552.

It is all about life and death - if you are reincarnated then when you 'die' from one existance you are then born into 'life' in another. If that is what you believe.

The cycle of rebirth continues until we destroy the ego-centric part of us that anchors us in the samsara.

I have passed in ignorance through a cycle of many rebirths, seeking the builder of the house. Continuous rebirth is a painful thing. But now, house builder, I have found you out. You will not build me a house again. All your rafters are broken, your ridge-pole shattered. My mind is free from active thought, and has made an end of craving.
