Top Five:

1. The Hairy Bikers.
Absolutely pretension-free and clearly enjoy the hell out of what they do. Whay-aye, that's canny, man!

2. Rick Stein
In a word... CHALKY!!! And his food's pretty damn good too, but that's not what we watch for.

3. Gordon Ramsay
Hysterically funny, acerbically honest and something of a fantasy icon for D/s lifestylers. (Yes, chef... sorry, chef... please abuse me, chef...) But - if you have the talent to follow his recipes, they're often pretty damn delicious.

4. Jamie Oliver
Love him or loathe him, the recipes are utterly idiotproof and always tasty.

5. Gennaro Contaldo
More of a special guest star than a regular chef, but Jamie O's old mentor has a wonderful way with both stories and Italian food.

AND WORST TOOL...
Anthony. Worrall. Thompson.

I have been liking "Good Deal" with Dave Lieberman of late. He also cooks on a budget and his recipes are just challenging enough. He is on Food Network. The only thing I can't figure out is if he is so worried about cost per portion, why does he shop at such an upscale Grocery store. I notice Whole Foods and Trader Joe's both ain't cheap. What I like most though is that he not stuck on himself at all and he isn't annoying like Rachael Ray....

I would have to say Mario Batali is the best chef. I am only talking about the skill level, not the entertainment value. Rachel Ray is a hack. Emeril is very good but he depends mostly on entertainment. Batali is the most skilled.

Gordon Ramsay because he's just so delicious to look at - oh and his food is good too.
But then again, how can you not love Jamie Oliver for being such an all-round nice bloke. Everything I've cooked out of his cook books has been a bit of a disaster though...

Gordan Ramsey. Because he knows what he's on about and he keeps it simple for you to follow. Although he's not a TV chef- he's a Chef.

I really like Rachel Ray because she is not a trained chef - so she seems more down to earth. She has recipes everyone can understand and use.

As a Chef myself I think it should be Brian Turner.
He cooks good British and a large variety of wholesome food, with no frills attached.
