I have a option of installing hardwood floor first and then installing doors along with frame or going it in reverse, what is the preffered way?

Install the floor first to be sure that the thresh-hold will the flush with the floor. Other wise water will leak in and ruin the floor. Good Luck!

Install the door frames first. When the hardwood floors are installed they will undercut the door frames so the hardwood slides right under the frame.

doors and frames first because if you do the floors first what would you do if you were to scratch or scuff your new floor installing the windows and doors and frames??? always a rule of thumb floors and or framing [edging when painting] framing moldings always always last its like when you are coloring outline last ...well you are putting your finishing touches good luck and DO NOT NO MATTER WHAT FORGET YOUR PERMITS counties are really really picky about those things and i would hate to see you sited!!

I would put the floors in first to ensure that your new doors clear them properly.
