im 16, 6ft tall and am at a good weight. but i always have trouble getting dates because my friends say guys are intimidated by myheight...and keep in mind im still in high school and very few of the guys my age have broken 6ft tall...so im kind of akward.

I don't think that guys are intimidated by tall girls. I think they believe that girls do not want to date someone shorter than they are. If you take the initiative and talk to a guy that you like, I think it will be fine.

As a general rule, yes, most guys prefer girls shorter than themselves. However, here's the good news: the guys that don't mind, or even like it, are more likely to be pretty self-confident guys. It usually takes some self-confidence (either that, or a bizarre fetish) to be with someone somewhat physically intimidating and be cool with it.
I had a girlfriend a few inches taller than me once. She was great in bed.

Personally, I usually find tall girls to be unattractive, which isn't to say I can't find them to be pretty or to have a great body, it's just that even if they are and have they still won't attract me because of their height. I've only noticed this a few years ago but I've always been more attracted to girls that are just a bit shorter than me. But that's just me, I have my personal taste just like anyone else will, and as there are others who will share my taste there will be just as many that have an opposite taste and will find tall girls more attractive. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. Besides, you're still 16, you're too young to worry about getting dates and that kind of things, so don't stress about it. Also, don't rely on your body and looks to find someone, you'd do best to develop your mind and personality. Looks are just to draw the person to you, but they can't keep that person with you unless that person is shallow, and I think it's good advice to stay away from shallow people.

I love tall women and have dated mostly women that are on the tall side. I consider short girls a bit dumpy. But beautiful tall women can seem a little intimidating. And short women often come off as more friendly, more girlish.

Tall girls are hot..hell fat girls are hot and short girls are hot all girsl are hot..your in school and every one is arkward. just waite and will find some one that is nuts about you and you wont want him at all and pull the olde lets be friends on him ..dont be in a rush...you got your whole life ahead you for this kind of stuff..and it doesnt get any easier..date an older guy..dont worry I love tall skinney girls..and trust me..they are lots of guys that do
