When my husband was posted overseas we could only communicate by letters. My husband came from a family that did not display emotions. So it was always hard for him to say I Love You. I received a letter from him that express his love for me and I still cry everytime I read it. He named his writing My Hearts Blood.

Here is the beginning: I love you, three words that mean so little to so many. How can three words cover all four corners of the heart, vast reaches of the mind, and the infinite bounds of the human soul itself. The love that binds two people and makes them one. An unseen force that carries beyond the physical love, to great happiness at a look, a smile and understanding. Are two who truly love ever really apart?

It is a long letter ... so I jumped to the end:
Yes "I love you" seems like empty words compared to the range and depth with which in lies my true feelings. My hearts blood is yours and it flows in all parts of my body. My mind and thoughts are yours. My soul waits beyond this frail life to travel forever together with you.

I love you

I hope this gives you inspiration to think what I Love You truly means.. in his letter he express many sides and expressions of love. We have been together since 1973, I met him when I was sixteen and married in when I was eighteen. Look into your own heart and soul, you will find the words which go with I Love You.

I searched my mind for a word or two that meant the same as ;''i love you'' i racked my brain and searched my heart but they are the only three that fit the part... helps??

when youve put all of you're thoughts on the paper about the person you writing it to.at the end of the poem put with lots of love and you're name at the end. good luck
