I work in asia in villages where some chemicals are added to the process. It is difficult to determine what it is. I have been told ammonia, fertilizer, things like that but it is all in non-English language that is difficult to translate. Any concrete answers or ideas would be useful

I really can't give you a specific answer outside of the ammonia or fertilizer you've heard of is probably (or is used to replace) DAP, diammonium phosphate. It's a yeast nutrient that is widely used in winemaking all over the US.

You are best to just let things ferment naturally. It has been awhile since I made wine but I was able to make it stronger by heating the wine and running the vapors through coiled copper. You need to catch the vapors while they are steam and direct them into your coils. The resultant drip is a more concentrated alcohol than the wine. Oranges, sugar and yeast will make a fast batch of wine. Wine making can be fun. We were given many pounds of beets one time. We boiled the whole mess up and made a bath tub full plus a ten gallon crock. We added 35 pounds of oranges to this. It was in the summer and we keep it covered with a gause type of cloth. After about 2 weeks we strained it and bottled it. You don't boil the oranges. We did add yeast and sugar. As I remember it was close to 50 pounds of sugar. It really turned out quite good. This was back in the Hippy days when it was popular to drink wine and beer. I would not try ammonia or fertilizer. You are likely to go blind from the mix.

I hear in Italy they use radiator coolant in wine to add sweetness without raising the alcohol content.

have u drank the beer?

i dont think it is any chemicals.. more like yeast, or wheat, or barley.. some type of grains, or gluten.. i dunno..

dangerous chemicals added to booze.. sounds way off the chart..

suggest u try to drink it.. and see what it is..
