Of course. How could it not? You can't just switch from personal to professional and back to personal mode whenever you want. If you're troubled by your personal life, there's no way you won't be feeling it while working, unless you find work to be like a refuge from life outside it. That may happen, but I guess you really have to like your job, which isn't as common as it should be. Still, even in a situation where working makes you feel better, there can always be differences in your behaviour that albeit small may hint something's not right for the observant eye. The opposite of what you asked can also happen and very often does, that one's professional life affects one's personal life, but I guess that's pretty blatant and could go without saying.

I think that there is difference between the two... the reason is because you are either trained or experienced to do the job, which is specific, you have job guidelines on what is expected of you and at times how to carry yourself.
Even though your personal life can effect your performance, many times the guidelines are specific enough to help carry you through these effects. If you are professional enough, they won't effect you for an extended period and all is well. If your personal life does effect your job negatively for an extended period, you may find yourself in a different job.

Absolutely....it really doesn't matter what type of work you are doing, either....people always say leave home at home and leave work at work, but they are both a part of your life, and can interfere with each other. You can't be absolutely miserable at work or get mad at work, and not still feel the same way when you get home, or if you get into a fight with your SO before you go to work, those feelings will go with you to work. You may try not to let it show, but nobody can just turn off how they feel just because they walked into or out of a different door.

I believe this also, people who have no lives outside of work tend to bring too much drama into the work place because they don't get it anywhere else. Their job becomes their life, so they are the ones most likely to blow thing out of proportion, take things the wrong way etc.
I know when I am fighting with my family, I sometimes bring it to work with me. I have to catch myself and make myself let it go for the 8 hours that I am at work.

It depends on the personality type. My personal life bleeds into my work and my work bleeds into my life. Some people though, will be able to focus more effectively on thier work when thier personal life is stressful. It's a coping technique to take your value and purpose of of your personal life and transfer it into your work.

It can.
If people are generally happy they most likely will bring that to work with them and make those around them happier.
The flip side to that coin is if a person comes in to work with a nasty attitude they tend to drag everyone else down with them.

Most definitely. If you have a horrible personal life, there is no way you can give 100% to your job whilst there.
