Accept her unconditionally. this includes: her looks, habits, past history, family, personality, intelligence, financial situation, job, allergies, pets and others.
The one I loved:
From memory of one of our dates...
I've drawn a picture of us kissing outside in the rain at night. We broke up a year later, I never shown her the picture.
The one I'm going to love:
I will draw a picture of us from one of our dates, I will propose to her with a ring along with the drawing of us.

I literally put my ex-girlfriend's life above my own several times. Once stood in front a guy coming at us with stick. I caught a guy stalking us in a store. I even walked through a dangerous neighborhood late at night so she could take a cab to work. I do not want to seem like I am bragging, this just how I am. There is pretty much nothing I will not do for the person I am with. I think the best thing I have ever done was just being there when she needed me.

Well, its not the nicest thing, but all of the little nice things that add up. Ive been married 8 years and grand gestures are few and far between, but the little things, like cooking dinner for me when I am tired, or taking the kids out to give me some peace and quiet, or the many hugs and kisses and I love yous, it is these things that let me know that I am appreciated.
