Because they want to stay in business.
Fried and roasted chicken are the two most popular ways we cook chicken in America. We also make pot pies (which KFC sold for a while...)
I know no one who routinely serves steamed chicken. It sounds vile, and I imagine a tasteless, slimy mass with bones that might remain undercooked after the meat is done. Just unpleasant all around.

Because nobody would buy it. People don't go to KFC to eat healthy, steamed chicken. People go there to get cheap fast-food.

Steamers cost too much money and would defeat the purpose of having a KFC.

Deep frying chicken is not only cheaper, but it tastes better and it cooks a lot faster; not to mention, its easier to deep fry chicken than steaming it. Not to mention, they would have to buy new equipment for all of their stores; very expensive.
Fast food restaurants rarely feature healthy foods (McDonalds salad dressing have as much fat/calories as their sandwiches), so I doubt they will start soon.

because that would be too healthy and KFC is fried chicken and unhealthy so people will crave it more. People don't crave healthy foods. we all want what is worst for us.

If you steamed chicken, it would have an unappetizing appearance. It just wouldn't sell.
