Hi,

I am getting a spaniel next week myself. I went to see her yesterday and have had some experience with them in the past too.

I would say that they are a very friendly, loyal and fantastic companions.

The down side is probably that they can get a bit hyper active when fed food with lots of additives in. It won't harm them but they will go hyper active. Just something to remember thats all.

I love animals, especially dogs so i would say good luck and go for it!

I have added a website that you may find helpful (see below).
Its has information from dog shows, breeds, clubs, etc.
If you go to www.google.com and type in King Charles Spaniel you will be sure to get lots of results from your search with helpful advice and information.

Again, best of luck.

Jen. :o)

P.S...
Sorry it's a long answer ;oD

Wow, can barely understand your English -- Did you finish high school??????????

This particular little spanial is usually a rather nervous little critter, hyperactive. If you wish to know if the individual animal is of this sort of temperment, try to adopt an adult, rather than a puppy. The personality is already formed, and you know exactly what you are getting.

We have a King Charles, and he is a pain in the butt. Always shedding. Hair balls all over. They require constant grooming. I'd seriously reconcider!
