If it was my dog and I didn't have any mouth sores, then sure if it was life and death. If I knew I could get him to a vet very quickly and that they would take care of him, then I would just hop into the car and get there ASAP.

Well, if your mouth was without cuts or sores, you could try it, but it's really a waste of time, plus you could really hurt the dog trying to cut open the bite marks. That technique isn't effective and the delay in getting the dog to an emergency vet could prove fatal to the dog. Just don't do it!

It has been said that sucking poison will not help a snake bite.I would take him to a vet fast.
