NO WAY..love is much more purer, fresher, full of life than infatuation, which is just a short-lived kinda thing (possibly the effect of "chemicals" playing in your head..While infatuation is fleeting, love is much more long-lasting..Hope everyone agrees with this.

No, but in the long run it can lead to love. It's normal to be infatuated in the beginning of a relationship. We see the other person as almost perfect, this let's us stick around long enough to either fall in love or fall out of infatuation. With infatuation the persons looks and so-called "perfection" is what keeps us interested. Love on the other hand is something deeper than looks and perfection. You want to be with the other person despite the fact that they no longer seem "perfect".

To me the first three or four months of a relationship is the infatuation stage. It's love and it's intense, but it's a very shallow love. It may or may not morph into real love.

Nope. Love is love. You won't believe you ever asked this question after you have been in love. It's so much deeper than infatuation.

That's way to go Lila
I can explain it any better.
But when my wife asked me what i mean when I say i love her.
I remember I said something like: When its me cooking, I will give her the bigger portion. And I will always warm the blankets for her before she comes to bed. When its cold, i will give her my jersey. I said a lot more funny things that i really meant and to her, it was love...
