It doesn't seem to match up. Either I can play a tape or I can watch tv. If there anyway to hook it up to be able to record tv with the vcr?

I have to manually change the tv to video in order to get my vcr to work.

Assuming you're watching TV using an antenna only (no cable or satellite TV)...

You probably need to connect your antenna to the ANT IN of your VCR, then connect the ANT OUT of your VCR to the ANT IN of your TV.

This config will also allow you to view your VCR over Channel 3/4.

of course u can record with your vcr. You'll need to connect the input to the back of your vcr and the output of your TV.

basically set it to the line a million or LINE 2....whichever one you used to connect the VCR to.... in case you try to checklist distinctive channels....forget approximately IT ....you may no longer try this with your setup....all you're able to do is checklist on line a million enter or line 2 enter out of your VCR....and your VCR can in user-friendly terms output one channel, except somebody is there to alter channels whilst necessary.... you're compelled to get a TIVO to checklist distinctive channels....
