Painfully, just get the right plasters, stoney thing and soak in water! It will take time, not something you can really rush!

Verrucas are viral infection that spread by touch. Each lesion is a viral colony.
Freezing with liquid nitrogen, cauterising the wart...ie burning it off are amongst the easiest, safest, and most reliable methods available.
If the warts recur.. it better to get rid of the earliest lesion as the number of viruses is less and greater chances of complete destruction so lesser chances of them multiplying again.
Meet your dermatologist. remeber they are contagious you could transmit it to others by touch or by sharing objects that come in contact with the warts example towels, combs etc.

See a chiropodist and they will sort it for you. They have different ways of dealing with them depending on the size. Sometimes they just need a little file and others (like mine when I was younger) need cutting out. I know that they can be frozen by the doctor but would you see a doctor if you had a bad tooth? See the foot specialist.

someone told me about a ointment that you put on after washing and only on the affected areas that burns it out quickly ask your pharmacist.
I also was told about putting a piece of banana on a bandage and keeping it on for a day or so, its a old mothers recipe but it is supposed to work,
you could get it cut out but not just before a holiday as it may be pain full
