Was Jesus sinless from birth, or was it once he was baptized in the Jordan River by John the Baptist? I know the Bible says that Jesus was 100% sinless, but from what point?

Serious answers please, this is a serious question.

Please give logical evidence to support your argument (I know, it sounds like a college essay question...*cringe*). I'd just really like to know. And not to be picky, but just a Bible quote won't do.

Catholics believe that Mary was born without original sin, if that is true then Jesus was always sinless, otherwise it started when He was baptized or he wasn't sinless.

Jesus was sinless from his birth, But to actually say it in the true way he was sinless from the time of conception, Jesus was not born by the sexual act as we are, but God put that seed in Mary, no sex involved, The reason Jesus had to be born without the sex act of conception is because of the fall in the garden.

fireball was first to answer this correctly. He was in heaven with his Father before being transformed into a living human embryo in the "imperfect" woman Mary. Mary was a virgin when she gave birth to Jesus, who was born the first perfect human since Adam and Eve. Mary did not remain a virgin for the rest of her life. She and her husband Joseph went on to have sons and daughters.

If he was 100% sinless then it would have to be from birth... it's not that difficult to figure out

He lived in Heaven before he was born here so he was always sinless. Baptism was for an example for us.

You said it right in your question He didn't have a sin nature. His first thought was to do good. Mankind's first thought is to do evil. It's part of who we are. That why he came so we could die to the flesh that has this nature and be made alive in His Spirit... You don't sin to become a sinner you sin because you are a sinner. We are all sinners by right of birth, so he is perfect by right of birth... Jim
