If you get married as a lesbian, so long as the person you're marrying isn't a lesbian as well it's okay.
But if you then get divorced and the person you're divorcing turns out to have been a lesbian all along, but kept it secret from you, and you forget where you've put the car keys, then it's not okay.

Yes my church is opposed to both! However as a human I feel that Gay people deserve equal rights by a civil partnership. And who says Lesbians don t go to heaven?

If I had a church it would not oppose marriage of lesbians. It would not be narrow minded or judgmental or red neck. It would be tolerant of all lifestyles and races. It would be what Jesus preached. That's IF I had a church.

No, not at all. My church has gay blessings and now weddings quite often. A lot of our ministers are in fact openly gay. Divorce is not a problem either, we all make mistakes, and who are we to judge?
By the way, I go to a Spiritualist Church, not a Christian one.

If lesbians can get married, how can they have children? If they can't, then isn't that against God? I thought He wants us to procreate...How a woman can be attracted to another woman (or man to a man) is way beyond my understanding...
