use the disc cleaner kit that you get at the movie rental store, or you can get it at most music stores.

Allsop Ultreen Cleaning Solution. I bought it as part of a little kit for cleaning CD's and it works equally as well on DVDS, CDRoms & PS2 discs. When the original bottle ran out i was able to purchase a new one.

Put fairy liquid on your thumb and wipe from the middle outwards all the way round the disc, then rinse under a lukewarm tap and dry with a hair dryer.
DO NOT rub with a cloth or rub the disc with your finger anyother way as it will get scratched!
I actually work for a computer games company so i would know how to clean them incase anyone disagrees ;-)

Spray CD cleaner on it then use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean it. Start in the middle and wipe towards the outside edge. Do this the whole way around the disc.
