I am really hesitant to fly again because of the lax security at that end. I don't think checking the passengers is enough!!

Airport security is a total joke. Its been five years since 9/11 and nothing has really gotten any better. They only randomly check luggage, so anybody can still put a bomb in a suit case. I travelled last month and left a lighter in my back pack on purpose, just to see if they would find it. And it wasn't even detected!
Your always going to take risks flying, thats a given. But if anybody thinks were safer now than five years ago, they better think twice.

I dont know what everyone is talking about. If you want the truth employees do not have to go through security. We can scan our badges and go underneath security on the tarmack.
Its not an issue because it never has been yet. You dont hear employees being terrorists, or bringing guns on planes. If they are flying they have to go through security, (most dont, flight attendants, ect)
But for work, we dont have to go through security.
