A Bachelor's degree is generally a four-year college degree. A Master's degree comes next and usually involves 2-3 years beyond a Bachelor's degree. A Doctorate is the highest level and means that, upon completion, you have the ability to create new knowledge. You've also earned the right to add Dr. in front of your name! Earning a Doctorate takes many years and a lot of hard work to accomplish, including a very lengthy research paper/project and dissertation.
