Mine is working golden triple time to dry up the basement and I feel bad pouring all that water down the sink. I've read DUNE. Do you think that we can recycle the water?

Water your plants

Note that it will contain house dust and bacteria (possibly Legionnaires' disease). So it's not for drinking. I wouldn't use it where distilled water is needed because it will also contain ions of the tubing on which it condenses, typically aluminum. But water the plants (not the cats) by all means.
PS: Dune is a great story.

Have a friend or a family member ship one of those Brita pitchers to you so you can filter the water and drink pure instead of crap. There's no way I'd drink from a dehumidifier.

I pour mine on my garden beds.

There is nothing BAD in this water. Nothing is added. The plants love it and it saves on my water bill when I run my dehumidifier.

Actually I use it to water my plants on my front porch. I don't water my grass or garden that often but the container plants really need the extra H2O--so I do this. Plus it reminds me to empty my dehumidifier water.

2/3s of the world is covered by water over a mile deep. Saving a few drops here and there is largely a waste of time. There really isn't a water shortage. There is some difficulty getting enough water to certain places such as Los Angeles that exports most of its water but even there most people water their lawns, and use it extravagantly.

Certainly you can. It is, effectively, distilled water, therefore pure. While I wouldn't, perhaps, drink it, I would certainly use it to water the garden, flush the toilet and even wash oneself and dishes in. There is no need to pour it straight down the drain! At least put it on the garden!
