my boyfriend asked me to marry him and gave me a tear drop shaped ring. should the wide side point in or the narrow side? or does it matter at all?

Hold your hands out in front of you - look at the point of the stone it should be pointing AWAY from you. If you don't believe me check all the bridal magazines and see which way the models are wearing pear shaped diamonds

The narrow side should point inside, looks better.

Very nice... I love the tear drop shape. Most people wear it so it looks like a tear to them- point to you.
But wear it which every way is more comfortable to you!!

It doesn't matter. It's a personal preference thing here.
Some people think that a pear/tear drop looks better one way, some think it looks better the other. It's entirely up to you.

If it were me, I would probably wear it with the point to the inside, but wear it however you'd like to, and however you think it would look best on you. I don't think there's a hard and fast rule on this one.

it's just a myth.but you won't lose anything if you do so.point the narrow end against you,it should not be facing you,or else you'll end up crying with him.

it depends on if your standing on the right side or the left side if your upside down if your somewhere in-between or you don't know or i don't know then no1 will know
