I currently use weights 4-5 times a week . Do about 2-300 sit ups 5 days a week and 10 minutes cardio 3 times a week and I cant seem to lose fat. How much cardio should I do, to lose fat? Also it is worth mentioning that I dont eat much fatty/sugary food. I am a 31 year old male.

Cardio helps burning more fat than weights. Weights help tone up your body. You get more muscle when your body is toned up. You muscle helps burn fat even when you are sleeping.

The best would be:

cardio
30min x 5-7 days per week

weights
3 rounds x 12-15 reps for each part of the body you want to tone up x 3 days per week.

10 minutes is SOOO not enough! Some advice : you need to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. The 45 minute thing is not true, but don't over 60 minutes at a time.

Do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.

The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!

Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.

Good luck and stick at it.

10 minutes is not long enough to reap the fat-burning benefits of cardiovascular activity. The recommended time is 30 minutes 3-5 times a week. You should work at a level that challenges you and makes you feel slightly breathless. Change the activities that you do so that you don't get used to it. Also, you seem to be doing a lot of sit ups. It may save time to improve your technnique and do fewer of them. Try a pilates class.

something doesn't sound right with your diet? You need to change something or eat smaller meals more frequently during the day. If you break down your meals to where you are eating every 2-3 hours you will speed up your metabolism and the fat will disappear in a matter of weeks. Take pictures of yourself today and then take pictures of yourself in two weeks. Watch the fat melt away.
