What's a good hair gel for men that doesn't make the hair hard when put on...I need one that stays soft and...

...wet-looking. Kinda wet too.

But not dried up and hard.

Please suggest something easy and affordable. But not too cheap.

Try Suave extra hold.
It doesn't have a too girly smell and it is fairly reasonably priced.
I'm a woman who uses it and I prefer my hair to be flexible.

Gel ha the tendency to harden, no matter what type u use. Rather try a styling wax, it allows movement and doesn't get stiff and hard like gel while it still keeps Ur style in position. If u have to use gel, try Jane Seymour's wet look gel. Apply the gel to damp hair, style and allow to dry a bit (about 10 min), then using Ur fingers brake up the stiff lumps.

You can try a pomade or wax, both of them are about the same. They don't contain as much alcohol they have a silicone base so it won't dry and get flaky. You keep the wet look and you can rearrange it if you need to and it won't get dry. I use a product you can get at Sally's beauty supply it works just as good as some of the more expensive products. It's Beyond the Zone, sexy styling sauce it's in a bright purple tube with bright green writing.

big hair..its in a big red can you can get it at any hair-dresser..this is what they use.....or you could just go to wal*mart and get V05 wet and flexible! it's cheap but it workls

my favorite is American Crew, but it's like $12 a bottle. if you don't use too much it won't get that hard, and it smells awesome.
