First off I would like to say that paganism (including Wicca, Ceaddeach, strega, Dakkari and others) is a religion, not a parlor trick. I have serious doubts that there is an issue in the modern world that truly requires such a draw. Spells have always been intended as a last resort as they effect the natural energy of the world around us.
I admit that I am VERY bothered by people who dip into spells and magic with no ideas of the foundations, safety practices or true results of such things. Everything has a price. It's usually far more than you expected to pay.
As a ceaddeach I do use some healing spells. I am aware though that when I remove pain from a patient I do so by drawing it into ME. Not just the energy, the pain. A wound I take may heal faster on a patient, but it will heal far slower on me than a "natural" wound would. This is the price I pay and I am aware of it. Needless to say this is definately a last ditch effort to help someone until modern help can arrive or the herbs can kick in.
At only 5 years experience I doubt you have the experience needed to SAFELY tap the planets. Dark sources are also dangerous as the payment for those is FAR more than you will expect. IF this is truly important, I suggest you find an experienced priest or priestess (of which ever path you follow) and work with them. It is best to find one who has done this particular spell before.
On a side note, if you are getting this spell from ANY book bought in a bookstore it won't work. There is not a single spell in publication that truly works. The best they do is help you focus your natural energy into a "prayer". Anyone can write a book of spells and a lot of people with no experience have. They sell because people want them to work, so people keep writing them. It's all about money. Actual "spells" are passed from person to person, rarely written in english, typically from parent to child. Most of the older faiths still in existance are very exclusive. They have survived Christian persecution for over a thousand years through secrecy. A plain to read spellbook has often meant a death sentance. My own books and logs, as well as the diaries and journals of my ancestors are written in the gaelic language and runes.
I'm sorry that I can not (will not) tell you how to tap that much energy, but I have no assurance you are who you say you are, or have any experience at all. IF you do, I'm sure you will remember the first time you touched the sky, and the results afterwards. To teach that to one who is unprepared is unethical and immoral. Even a simple weather spell has costs you are often unaware of. Bringing rain to you draws it from somewhere else. That simple shower to water your lawn so you dont have to may mean drought for farmers in other areas. The responsable user of Magick knows this and seeks any other alternative possible first.
Beyond that, I also have doubts as to your "5 year" claim. Even if you are a "bookstore pagan" you would be aware that the spelling is different. A 5 year practitioner of magic is really good at card tricks. It's spelling is different because the essence of what it IS is different. In a magic trick you make things seem to change, appear or disappear. In magick you shift the natural energies of the world into a pattern that aids you. One you charge for, one you pay for.
Edit: OK, you read the necronomicon. You don't actually think that WORKS do you? It's NOT a babylonian lost book. It's a joke written to screw with the heads of people. People have been "casting" those spells since it came out and not ONE has ever been successful. Why? For the simple reason that it is pure rubbish wriiten in the worship of the almighty dollar. I'm sorry, but you will never succeed.

>im still not absolutely sure about it
That's not a good thing to hear coming from someone who wants to "rip" an opening between dimensions. (And, yes, I'm one of those sticklers who thinks that opening a rip and opening a portal are different things - the connotations between the two will cause differences that may be significant.)
My first thought would be to bail out - skip the spell for now, and either do a lot more research, or find a different way. (And I do have to echo the earlier question of what you need/want this much power for.) If you insist on doing this, and using this method, I'd recommend divination, and attempting to communicate with Saturn first - no commitments or anything, just get a sense as to whether or not Saturn himself thinks this is going to be an issue. He won't suffer fools, but checking with him first might avoid some issues.

If your trying to conjure the power of saturn and combining the four elements to create a dimensional rift then your basically screwed. Saturn is a good source of negative energy (acording ot mystics) and sometimes the combination of elements creates great destruction. I once tried combining water and wind using my own energy and ive created a storm w/c almost flooded a portion of my country. To tell you the truth Saturn is a symbol of destruction and not only can you destroy the dimensional wall but you can also destroy the physiscal realm.
if you really need it badly iiL let you in on a secret.
first of all when chanelling dark forces or any kind of force always make sure you got a protective circle and a sealing circle so you can contain the power in one spot and so you can controll it.
next try to chanel the energy inside your own body but be carefull coz too much energy could instantly kill you.
Your body will act as a key and poof dimensions gate are opened.

Okay, I've spent half an hour working this out, but it comes down to this: unless you dearly, deeply in your heart enjoy authoritarian order, destructive limits and helpless dependency, do not do this. Saturn does not suffer fools, and it does not forgive. Worse, it does take prisoners; working with Saturn is a great way to end up like Chris Reeves, living paralyzed and dying from a boil on your ***. This is not to say he had anything to do with Saturnine energies; I'm sure he did not. It is an illustration of what Saturn can do to your target, or to you if you slip.
If you insist on taking this route, then I leave you to do it alone. Pax vobiscum; requisat in pacis.

As a practitioner of magic for many lifetimes, but in this lifetime 2 years, sometimes you need to use dark sources to achieve what you need to do. I will warn you be careful you are doing it for the right reason otherwise it may backfire on you and come back to you threefold or whatever you believe. I would need to know what exactly you are trying to do and what elements you are bringing into the equation to even know if I could help you find information.

Firstly, all ritual should incorporate all four or five classical hermetic elements (earth, fire, air, water, sometimes spirit or akasha), if you work within the western magickal traditions. So that you're doing so is no big deal there -- it's expected.
Saturn is poorly represented as a 'dark' source. Considering that 'death' is a reference to change and growth within the ceremonial language, Saturn isn't so much a planet of darkness as of breaking out of comfort zones, forcing one's self to strive past the known; it invites us to delve into our own occult, our own hidden places.
Avoid, at all costs, ingestion of saturnian herbs!!! Most of the particularly posionous herbs (belladonna, nightshade, hemlock, hensbane, wolfsbane/aconite, etc) have been classed as saturnian for good reason. Even with years of herbalistic experience, I still wouldn't even try a witch's ointment, and that is meant for external use. It just isn't worth it. Also be aware that 'ingestion' includes: oral consumption in the form of herbal material and extracts thereof, use of extracts or herbs intravaneously, via fluid irrigation of the bowels, ears, or mouth, dermal barrier transport [ie: witches ointment] etc. In short -- don't get the stuff inside your body in any way.
--------------
Necmarduk? Tearing the dimensions? I wish I'd waited for your clarification. Dude, you're nuts. Thanks for the good chuckle though. :P
BTW: Dimensional rending is best done and easiest done via direct energy field manipulation. Ditch the ritual. If you cannot focus your will enough for energy field manipulation without ritual, you are WAY out of your league on something like this.
And just so you know, even if you should succeed, the universe will continue on just as it always has. Remember that Magick is ultimately as untestable as prayer or the existence of God.
So I suppose the ultimate question is:
Why the frell are you trying to do something so ... uh... 'dumb'?

What do you need such a powerful fix for? Are you trying to bring back the dead or something? Haven't you seen " Pet Cemetary"?
"Sometimes dead is better"
Don't try to hurt people with that. If you've been practicing that long, you should know the rules. Be safe.

Perhaps the real magic is at the end of the Merlin movie, where they all "from such turn away", where and when all stop giving place to, "highminded" law law, which is notably among "unholy" things in 2Timothy 3. There & then such law law doth "vanish".
What's "ready to vanish": Hebrews 8:13
Notably "shall vanish": 1Corinthians 13:8
How to win the image vs likeness war, of a mirror?
(where likeness says right, and an image says left)
Simply "from such turn away", let the image vanish.
For law is "all vanity and vexation of spirit": Solomon.
As for "elements", consider Galatians 4:3,9; notably written "unto the churches", notably unto "bewitched" churches, unto "foolish" churches, them who draw back to perdition(law) after being "delivered from the law". Doesn't get more DAH than this.
The objective of "ye shall KNOW the truth... shall make you FREE" isn't about being 'not sure', rather about being "sure" how to approach the throne of grace, where only mercy obtain-able. Hebrews 4:16 says "bodly" (on behalf of all the KofG within you). For if you do it fearfully, well, fear hath torment; or for some only, well I know not what the some-what(?) are; or selfishly, well, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Devils believe there is one God, theirs: Law, and they fear & tremble.
The "grace" of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Do it, doubts are nothing, think of the power. And if the protections don't work, well, the magickal community will have one less practitioner.
And just realise I'll be standing behind you (Very far behind you, mind you, but behind you nonetheless) cheering you on.
*holds up pompoms* RaRaRa!

It seems like to me most of the practitioners of magic, witchcraft, etc that get on here aren't really looking for truth, but instead are fishing for someone to give them a "high-five" to bolster their confidence in delving into dark powers (which are all satanic in origin). I will give you the benefit of the doubt and share God's truth with you, just in case you can hear it.
Jesus Christ died on the cross, not for Himself, but for you and me. His death and resurrection has made great power available to us, if we will just receive it. I used to think years and years ago that the devil had all the power because - well just look around! But no. God has got power that the devil can't even get close to, or else it'll burn his face off! If you want power, go to God. Give your heart to Jesus. Ask Him to come into your life. He'll throw everyone of those devils out when He comes in - light repels darkness in a violent way.
I heard this guy's testimony one time, how that he had been a warlock his entire adult life, and was deep deep deep into occult powers. He told of how one day the Holy Spirit blew into his room like a "mighty rushing wind" and he was flung hard up against the wall as all the demons were leaving his body. He was completely delivered in that moment. After that he was a changed man and he lived entirely for God.
People look at the dry, dead, traditional, religious, denominational churches and think, "hmm. God doesn't have any power. Just look at these people." But I am telling you, God is bringing miracles, signs and wonders back to the church (not the whole church, but those who are "in tune" with Him).
My advice to you straight up, is this. Get out of the occult. The powers you are dealing with are not "neutral" in terms of good or evil. The devil is not your friend. He is nobody's friend. If you let him in, he will destroy you. They give you the illusion that you are in control of them, but the more you play around with them the more they take control of you. The only hope you have of getting free from this stuff is by saying "yes" to Jesus Christ.
