What has he ever done for us? He says it's a sin to even think about sex, and then he died to save us from such stuff as that? Don't bother, JC! My idea of sin is behavior that hurts other people, not sex in thought or deed between consenting adults. Christianity tries to say everyone has sinned. People feel guilty over nothing. Then, priests can relieve guilt...for a fee, of course. The whole routine is like a con artist poisoning a city's water supply and then selling antidote, i.e. priests create an imaginary need for their services. It is incredibly ruthless and barbaric to cause so much misery with such con games. If there was a Hell, the priests who invented such a vile system should be the first ones there. How can anyone with an IQ of 85 or more believe such nonsense?

Him personally? Not much, I gather....in his name, or against his name? Depends on what you mean by recently....how about:
1. 9/11
2. Munich Olympics 1972
3. The Six Day War
4. Ethnic cleansing in Bosnia
5. Jim Bakker and Jimmy Swaggart
That's a start, anyway.

He died on the cross for your sins so that you may have eternal life. What more could any rational person want?
Joh 3:14 Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up,
Joh 3:15 so that everyone who believes in Him will have eternal life.
Joh 3:16 "For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.
Joh 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world that He might judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
Joh 3:18 Anyone who believes in Him is not judged, but anyone who does not believe is already judged, because he has not believed in the name of the One and Only Son of God.
Joh 3:19 "This, then, is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than the light because their deeds were evil.
Joh 3:20 For everyone who practices wicked things hates the light and avoids it, so that his deeds may not be exposed.
Joh 3:21 But anyone who lives by the truth comes to the light, so that his works may be shown to be accomplished by God."

A caveman discovered fire. Bell invented the phone. Edison invented the electric bulb. What did they do recently?
Another answer: Gandhi obtained freedom for India from the British, entirely inspired by the 'Do good unto your enemies' concept of Jesus, in the nineteen forties.

Jesus did not die on the cross.
How could he die without completing what he was sent to do?
God sent Jesus to reform Judaism amongst all the tribes of Isreal. Would God let his messenger perish in such a humiliating manner or would he be assist in carrying out Gods work in finding the lost tribes of Isreal?

People were determined to have human kings and didnt listen to the Lord so now he is waiting while we learn lessons and when the time is right He will come back to save us from ourselves
He said we should be ready ahead of time For there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth" if youre not ready.

He died on the cross because he was a rabble rouser and was trying to stir up trouble against the Roman government. His death became glorified by his followers as something more than it really was to make him a martyr.

Jesus is crucified daily by sinners like you but that is why He went to the cross in the first place. He knows you but loves you anyway.

What have you done for Him recently? Have you spread the word that Jesus loves you more than anyone else? Have you comforted someone by His promises in the Bible. He did enough giving His life for you so that you may be saved. But what have you done in return? Have you lived your life for Him at all? Ask yourself that. He's kept you alive these years. He woke you up this morning. He gave you the activity of your limbs, eyes to see, ears to hear. Be grateful that you are alive today.
