bush_kills_4,sorry I know better,"YOU HAVE BEEN SHOWN ALL THERE IS TO KNOW ABOUT GOD,EVEN UNTO THE GODHEAD."You have a copy in your heart of hearts, just as the acorn has the blueprint within it for the oak tree. You are without excuse, you have chosen to ignore your duty.

AnAvidViewer,I think we should rise above religious belief, thanks to the messinger and enter into the spiritual union with GOD,irregardless of who the messenger is or what religion it is.

Are we suposed to worship at all? I would say that if we are going to worship, then it would be ourselves. I feel that God is in all of us, or is all of us. We are pieces of a larger entity, yet we are the same. It is like a snowflake is water. Water all the same, just a smaller piece. It will still quinch your thirst. It can still have bacteria in it. All the same functions.
So I think that it is bigger than worship. Worship seems to be a form of early religion. i think that it is time to look past worship and look more at focusing our thought. If we spent all day in worship, of essentially ourselves, we would not progress. We would be stuck in reflection all day. We have to move forward in our thinking. It's time.

It actually depends on your religion and/or lack thereof. If you have faith in a religion that believes there is only one G-d, then yes, you are only supposed to worship that one G-d. But not everyone believes the exact same thing as you, and as a good Christian, you are supposed to respect that and not judge others (remember, only G-d is supposed to judge people).
Oh yea, don't forgot, most of the Christian traditions are pagan, including Christmas, Easter, and so much more-- the Christian church wanted to get more followers so they incorporated pagan practices and dates into the Christian customs-- Sunday-- that was the day that the pagans worshiped their Sun god. Easter eggs were pagan fertility rituals. December 25th was the day pagans celebrated the winter Soltice. There are so many more examples. The point is, other than the Bible itself (which is partially the Jewish Torah-- the first five books of the Old Testament) most of Christianity practices are pagan in origins.
So is your religion really THE religion? Or is it a religion that mixes Christianity and paganism? I think you should actually do some research before you put your G-d and your faith as the TRUE faith.

You can worship who you want, god doesn't exist, the only evidence to say he does is the bible which was written by men of many centuries.

God is my parent, and he doesn't bother about me worshipping Him. As long as I do a good job down here, or at least be harmless, he doesn't mind.
If you have children, do you want them run about singing your praises or do something useful? God doesn't have an ego...
