I think I found my calling, Im taking the necassary steps to "round out" my voice, but what do I do now? I sing in a small band for my church, and I want to take the next step.

I've already made a recording, and so far everyone who hears it says Im pretty darn good. Even my hubby who doesnt care for Christian Rock.

Pray for God to set up divine appointments for you with people who have gone before you in that field and who can give you sage advice about what to do and what mistakes to avoid. Ask God to open a door of opportunity for you and to put you in a group of people who share your calling as He wills.

First have a good voice and talent. Make a recording of yourself....listen to it and get the evaluation of dis-interested 3rd parties.
You may think your good but really suck. Just look at the American Ego...er Idol try outs.

There is no such thing as a Christian rock singer. You either sing praises to the Lord, or songs that pleases Satan. When Jesus saved me, He changed me. He put a new song in my heart. One that wants to up lift His name, and please Him.
