As long as you can get down to her innocense and she can rise up to your level of maturity no age difference matters. The point here is that you 2 should be able to reach an understanding that you both enjoy as individuals. So Go head, take her in your arms and share your world with her. Have Fun!!!!!!!!!!!

It really depends on how old you both are.
That is, 10 years difference when you are in your 90s and she
is in her 80s won't even be noticible. The difference between
10 years old (pre puberty) and 20 years old (post puberty) is
immense.
In this case, how mature a 17 year old is she? If she's had
some dating experience, and has some backbone and could
probably survive on her own, then ... maybe.
Otherwise, no. You've got a lot more experience in living
life than she has and will have a very different set of expectations.
For instance, you might be considering settling down, having
children, etc, while she is still trying to figure out what she
wants in a partner.
That is, of course, ignoring the legal aspects of it. Even if
her parents don't object, what about previous boy friends?
How about want-to-be boyfriends? Anybody can call the cops.

You will be 31 before she is able to go to the bars and night clubs. Are you ready to live those years over again? Age makes less of a difference when both people are more mature, but 17 and 27 seems like a pretty big experience spread.
If she was 27 and you 37 I don't think it would be a problem. It really depends on the situation. 100 years ago that age difference wasn't unusual at all.

My brother married someone 10 years younger than himself and they have been married for around 18 years I think they are fairly happy and my wife use to date men 10 years younger than herself however I think we connected so much more closely on an intimate level because we are about the same age and have the same interests in many areas I know it's possible for that age difference to have the same interests but I don't think it lasts. I've dated younger women and the sex is great but you can't bridge the generation gap sometimes. For a lasting relationship I would recomend you stay within a year or two of your own age. I would at least wait till she's 18

Personally I don't think age matters all that much. Although I would say to be careful and wait another year to be on the safe side and have your bases covered.
As long as both of you, first of all, are ok with it and then as a bonus, her family is ok with it too, it shouldn't be a problem but a lot of times it doesn't take a real long time for relationships and acquaintances to turn sour so you will do good in waiting for her to become of legal age.

I believe soul mates are soul mates and age in this lifetime doesn't matter. The souls ages span lifetimes.
however the short term is more important sometimes...
and there are others that 'know' that I'm wrong...
So,
If an onlooker, even if it is with their own fantasy, or "anyone" can involve the legal system and/or the police (including them making their usual intelligent decision) then I'd wait.
Where would the legal system be without an accuser(regardless of the facts)? Do you believe that they are looking for alternative explanations of the truth or looking for an need for their existence?
I'd wait a while, what 'bout you?

I think that an age difference between 4 years the most would be accepted but not more than that...because it's like you are living in different ages..a person nowadays that is 17 is really different than someone who was 17 ten years ago...maybe things will work out or maybe they wont...!

It won't matter that much in a few years when your 30 and 20, but right now she is legally a minor. She is a child. Back off.

as she is under 18, and you got her parents consent to date her you are fine. maybe you should wait until shes 18 to have sex to be sure. age dont matter what matters is that the two people loves each other.
