I am in Cross Country and everyday we run like 3-4 miles. After practice my legs and knees hurt and they feel heavy. What should I do. Should I ice them or maybe something else?

do a lot of stretching, run at a good pace when you get home and you sit down try crossing your legs at the knee 15 minutes with one leg on top and 15 of the other, because it relaxes your mucsles do that for a half hour and take a hot shower/bath then you shoule be fine

drink more water and stretch before and after. That should do the trick. If you continue to feel sore you need to slow down your pace when you run. Too much too soon. Your body is telling you to slow down and run more relaxed.
