I have just got a black lab puppy and i called her Molly!! How about lady or Holly or Poppy or Bella?

I think you need to spend some more time with your pup the name will come, we did that with the first of our three dogs, my husband keep talking to the dog and calling him Buddy ( He's American) all the time we couldn't think what to call him. One day Buddy was sitting beide us and my husband said "sorry buddy we're having trouble thinking of a good name for you" Buddy raised his eyebrows like what are you talking about my name is Buddy. So it stuck.
Koda got his name as I was struggling with my piano lesson homework, especially the CODA of the piece i was playing, again i kept saying to Hubby this CODA is hard, ot its pretty or something like that. Koda started to answer to the name CODA, so i changed the C for a K and voila!
Finally Nanook got his name, well bcause i heard it on Tv i had the name before the dog, he refused to answer it, he does do as he's told when we call Nookie!! Go figure!
I guess what I'm telling you is to try out any of the names you are thinking about with the dog and let her decide, worked for us so far!

Just because she is a chocolate color .. don't limit yourself to those kind of names.. Try something original. Perhaps "spud" or "walking phoenix" .. anything that is different than what other people tend to name their own chocolate labs. Good luck ! :)

Well if it were my new puppy I would prolly name her coffee since I have a cat named creamer and a dog named sugar.. but a good suggestion would be (since chocolate labs are beautiful to me) I would call her Beauty...... Since that is what she will be a pure Beauty.....

Sparkle, Molly, Sascha, Stella, Fizz, or if u like unusual names try some japanese names i used to have a grey stripped cat and her name was kaggetora which means shadow tiger i called her tora for short. Good luck in finding a name u really like. x

Had a pal with 2 choc labs, they were called Thornton & Aero, were sooo cute!!! until they grew up and ate the kitchen!!

Out of the ones mentioned already- I liked Bella and Poppy.
The ones I would suggest are: Mina, Farrah, Locee (low-see)
