If you don't know, then I suggest you go and do a course or stop using Word.

insert text - This Insert text in the cursor position, Click on the position u want and start typing.

delete text - This erazes text that is selected
cut and paste - U have to select the text that u need to cut, ie it fully cuts the selected part and paste it in someother part where u want it to be.
copy and paste - Same as cut.. but it keeps the original and copies the text to required place
size and margin - It specifies the Space that u need to leave on every side of the paper.

find and replace - In the find box enter a text u need to find and click ok.. The cursor wil be placed in the first occurance of that text. If u want to replace any word with another word u can use replace option. U can do it for whole document or desired part.

word wrap - i am not pretty sure about that

print - It is used to make a hard copy of the document using a printer.

file management - not sure

font details - U can select any fonts like Arial, Times New Roman etc.. can change size of the text can add effects.. so on..

foot notes and crow refrence - not sure

header and footer - If u want to add a text on top or bottom on every page.. u can go for this option. Eg: Page No

page numbering - Available in Header or footer. Its sequential numbering of consecutive pages.

layout - deals with the paper layout.. whther the paper is A4, or Letter or A3 To get the hard copy in correct format

macros - They are abbrevatons.. I think so

merges - Mail merge is mainly used when u need to type many letters of same content but different address.

spell check - This checks the spelling of each word with the MS Dictionary.. We can add new words to dictionary

table and contets - To create a table.. U can specify no of columns and rows..
