It's not only suicide for some of us, but the people that can't take the pain that goes on in their lives give themselves physical pain to cover over. I do think the people that taunt us who actually have real problems are in fact jealous, because they have such an easy life. Some of them can buy their problems away, while the ones that aren't so fortunate cash-wise have to make do with what they can. Whether it be self harm or even suicide. I think most of the time, the people that are driven to suicide is because it comes from the people who taunt them.

If people were more personable and humane, I don't think there would be such an issue. But they say it's a "cowards way out". It's not. It's a last resort. Would one really want to go on living their life in their current state if it was so horrible? Because I sure as hell wouldn't want to.

I think most people consider it at some point in their lives! And thank goodness most people are "cowards"! (If that is what we are called then.) This argument is really a matter of opinion. I am definitely not jealous of the ones who had the guts to end their pain by taking their own lives, but I also do not condemn them!

Years ago, I saw no light what so ever in my circumstances, but I was a "coward" and could not end it all, even if that seemed like the only solution at that point! Today I am so glad, because exactly that gave me a second chance! And I don't regret my life!

I would just like to add the following text, you can read it if you want: Ecclesiastes 8:8 (It is only interesting, not anything I am forcing onto you!)

Have a good day!! And hopefully a good life!!

I hope I'm not being "holier than thou", but no, I don't think I'm jealous of anyone who commits suicide. Life takes guts, and I think suicide is a coward's way out. I have suffered depression for most of my life, and have the scars to prove I once (or twice) considered suicide. I'm glad I wasn't successful. Life is what you make of it, and you choose whether or not you're happy. Of course I have problems, but I choose to deal with them and work through them, instead of letting them overwhelm me. Everyone can be happy and contribute something to society, and everyone can find at least one reason to keep on going, even if it means living minute by minute, instead of day by day.

Not a holier than thou person thank you very much!! You are steroetyping.
No! We are not jealous.....we are SMART !!
"Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem" !!
It takes more courage to face problems and work them out than to take the easy way out and leave friends and relatives to bear the sorrow and pain and all the questions....!!!

I see what you're getting at. Suicide does sound appealing when faced with a major problem, but dying is just too easy. Living and facing your problems is hard. I don't think suicide is any great answer because you're going to eventually die anyway. Might as well make the best of it.

WOW DUDE!!! First of all contemplating suicide is not normal thinking! It doesn't have ANYTHING to do with GUTS. It stems from chemical imbalances in the brain, severe depression and post tramatic stress disorders. When trated most suicidal people are pleased that they didn't kill themselves but decided to participate in life.

Well they don't seem to be. Though they certainly seemed rather angry during the holocaust that the Jews allegedly killed their messiah. Edward, will Jews and Christians also receive 72 virgins then, I suppose? Must be from the FSM's stripper factory.

That stupid *** thought never crossed my mind. Suicide is a cop out, people think they can get away from their problems using it, but none of us knows rather it 's better or worse on the other side. Not to mention, taking away a life is murder, even if that life is yours, it's not your right to kill.

I only have one thing to say about suicides.

It's a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
Nothing more.

So anyone who thinks that others would be jealous of someone who did it, should definitely seek professional help.
