I am not particularly over weight (I'm 5ft1'' and just under 9st (126 pounds))
I have a tiny waist 24inches but my thighs are nearly the same measurement! I accept I am pear shaped but would really like to try and even the balance a little.

I exercice 4-5 times a week (workout DVDs and Yoga) and I try to eat a balanced diet. Other than starvation and moving in to the gym, does anyone have any sugestions.

I am a confident person and I don't need to be told to love myself as I am or I wouldn't have bothered writing the question, so serious answers only please :-)

Try and find out what foods you're intolerant to and avoid them! Also eat every meal and snack in the 40% protein 30% carb and 30% fat ratio. I've done this the last year and a half and have lost 3 stone. My weight used to be on my stomach and thighs but now my weight has distibuted itself equally all over. It is not a quick fix solution, but it is a very healthy one. :-)

it is impossible to lose weight in a single area other than liposuction you just have to cut your calorific/fat intake and exercise more and soon fat will reduce all over your body, it may seem to go quicker in some areas compared to others but generally it will all go in time. One thing you can also try is to put a little more muscle mass on your shoulders/upper body, im not talking hulk hogan here but just a little can alter the overall appearance and balance your shape out.

1. avoiding oily food
2. eat much more veggies (more than 4 portions a day)
3. avoiding too salty and processed food
4. soak your feet in warm water with one teaspoon of salt for 15min
5. drink two glasses of warm water right after getting up everyday
6. drink at least 8-10 glasses everyday
7. jump 6 times on one foot and use your palm to massage your tummy 10 times before going to sleep every night
8. do a 15min running or 30min stepping/walking on empty stomach every morning

Maybe u can try other sports like swimming and stop to do useless things like diet.

first: eat two white eggs every morning

second: choose to eat between tuna sandwich and chicken sandwich. but don't try to eat beef or pork, ok?

third: eat a bowl of soup that contains vitamins(vegetable soup) or maybe u can try to eat red beans soup.

and when u wanna have a break, u can eat slices ao apple with a crysanthenum tea or geen tea, if u want to get a better result.

I recently read that you can't lose fat in one specific place on your body. Fat loss happens evenly through the entire body. You just notice it more on some parts than others. The best thing for working the thighs is walking. Or you could just dress to camouflage the thighs. Great tips!!!

If you work on the muscles in that area, the fat will turn to muscle which is much more dense. Ask at the gym which exersises you should do. They probably have a machine that will work out exactly the muscles you need to grow.

Well the only thing I can suggest is more walking. Maybe more conentration on leg lifts,lunges and squats. No heavy weight, just high reps. Hope this helps

It's exceedingly difficult to lose weight in only one area. The only real effective way to burn fat is cardio, but it's going to burn fat all over, not in just one area. Starvation is just going to yo-yo your weight. Just accept it. I wish I had bigger thighs. Trade you?
