Yes some of the applied oil will be absorbed by the skin. Though in saying that it will not enter your system in the same way as if taken orally. For use on the skin I would recommend Jojoba Oil as it is almost identical organically-speaking to sebum, which is the natural oil produced by your skin. As well as being a great natural moisturizer it can also help with acne, Jojoba Oil penetrates into the skin without clogging pores and is suitable for all skin types it contains vitamin E and antioxidants which are great for fighting aging signs and moisturizing the skin. Remove any surface dirt from your skin, then put just a few drops of jojoba oil into your hand and rub it into your skin when you start to work jojoba oil into the skin, the oil penetrates into the pores. As jojoba closely resembles your skin's own oil, moisturizing with jojoba oil sends the message to your pores to stop overproducing the sebum that causing the oily skin, so it can also assist people who have oily skin. Hope this helps!

Olive Oil is excellent for the skin if taken through diet, either by cooking with it or drizzling it over salads. If you are a fish lover try salmon or mackerel, they are oily fish and also work wonders for the skin. Also cod liver oil capsules work wonders for the skin, hair and nails.

olive oil used in cooking is very good for the skin, hair and nails as is the oils found in fish such as mackeral etc. If you don't like to use olive oil in cooking and dont like fish, try boots - they do a great vitamin designed for skin, hair and nails made from a number of different healthy oils.
I've been using it for about 6mths now and have really noticed a difference to the condition of my nails, skin and hair.

Yep, it's full of antioxidants. Virgen olive oil (first pressing) is best.
Olive oil is also good to dry skin; smooth on a few drops with a cotton ball. Really good for chapped hands after painting, working with abrasive detergents, etc.

Yes it is so good for your skin and your body in general buy the best quality extra virgin cold pressed olive oil that you can afford.
I love using it in making fresh basil pesto with toasted pine nuts and penne. Yumm had that for supper last night it was lovely.

olive oil or canola oil are very healthy. I don't know if some other more exotic oil like the palm oil I used to eat in Africa would be better.
