He is just being a male. Some mothers like to wait on their little boys when they are ill. That's what mothers do, he wants to hear you say "Oh there, you're not well are you, dear dear" and useless stuff like that.

If you make him food, whatever it is, he will eat it, and moan a bit too.
He knows he is being soft, it's just the attention he wants. Men are like that, we just can't handle being "A Bit Poorly"

Unlike Women who can get on with life as normal when they have the Flu, Malaria, Heavily Pregnant or Limbs hanging off...

My favourite food when ill was always "Boiled Egg and Toast Soldiers" always puts a smile on a wimps face that does.

As for the Cure.. Hot Water, Whisky, Honey, Lemon and a Beechams = Hot Toddy
(Only Make one with the Beechams, the other 3 can just be with extra Whisky) I don't know if it's a cure, but he'll be so drunk he'll forget about being ill. Good luck.

Every time my dad got sick he would have something special and it would make him feel better and allow him to get back on his feet in a day or so. Whenever I get sick this is what I have also and it seems to knock the cold right out of your system. So give this a try.
Poach an egg or two in milk. Make a couple of pieces of toast and dump the poached eggs and milk on top of the toast. Add a pat of butter and some salt and pepper. You can also add a dash or two of tabasco if he likes that. It works every time.

Chicken Soup always works for me, nice home made but just as good out of a tin. Then just pamper him and make a fuss of him. Also if I can be personal . . . a good love making session is a good way to sweat out a bad cold (and the good thing about that is that you both benefit). Good Luck and I hope he's feeling better soon.

A nice hot bowl of chicken noodle soup and plenty of fluids like juice or even a glass of ice chips to keep his mouth from getting too dry.

As a child, whenever i was sick. Mum would make me toast with butter and promite on it, with a nice hot cup of tea. It always made me feel better.
I still have it 36 years later.

I HATE TEA! Mom used to pour it down my throat when I was sick! Now that I'm older I prefer a good strong cup of coffee. It's still hot flavored water but it has some kick!

It's got to be something tasty as his taste buds and mouth will be affected by his cold. What about a curry!
