Dear fellow it is not dispute of Vande Matram. It is dispute over Vande mataram. India is secular and it should remain as such. No coercion would be good for the country. Do not doubt the integrity and patriotism of any Indian.

Some so called nationalistic people with thier hidden agenda has started mixing up patriotism with hindu rituals with the malafied intention to alienate the muslims from the mainstream.e.g all hindu rituals are follwed while celebrating national days like ind. day, rep. day, teachers day etc All govt projects are inaugurated with hindu rituals. It was started keeping in mind that muslims will keep away from all such occasions and hence they can easily be termed as anti-nationals.
What is rediculous about this controversy is that most of the hindu population can not sing vande matram and they want muslims to sing it.

In my openion if the hindu clerics of high level clarifies once and for all that Vande matram does not mean doing PUJA of the mother land but it is for paying respect to the motherland, the whole controversy will vanish.
However I salute to the song by reproducing it in full;

vande matram
sujala[n] sufala[n]
malayjasheetlam
shasyashyamlam matram
shubhra jyotsnam pulkit
yaminim
ful kusumit drumdalshobhinim
suhasini sumadhur bhashinim
sukhada verda[n] mataram
sapt koti kanth kalkal
ninad karale
dwisapt koti bhujaidhrat
kharkarwale
ke boley ma[n] tumi abley
bahubal dharnim namami
tarinim
ripudalvarinim matram
tumi vidhya tumi dharm
tumi hnadi tumi marm
twa[n] hi prana sharirey
bahute tumi ma[n] shakti
hridey tumi ma[n] bhakti
tomarey pratima gadi mandirey-mandirey
twa[n] hi DURGA
dashprahrandharini
kamla kamal dal viharini
vani vidhyadayini, namami twam
namami kamla[n] amla[n]
atulam
sujala[n] sufala[n] matram
shyamla[n] sarla[n] susmita[n] bhushitam
dharni bharni matram..

Dont make it a litmus test for patriotism. But do something for your nation beside just singing it.Do you know about the interseting fact that muslims touch thier motherland bowing thier heads five times a day ? And that they take rest in the lap of thier motherland after death ?

Dear Friends,
It is a free democracy one may one may not but in compulsory, the imortant feature of democracy is getting effected and it is not remaining free democracy.
But as a discipline one is obliged for the nation but not compulsory,
Vande Matram song's importance is very vital, it has devotion, sacrifyse, loss of life not for self but for freedom, independance, for land, nation and for future citizens,
Son may respect to his pasrents or may not though his parents are cause for his existance, it is self understanding, his background, his circle, his requirements, his needs, his self interest, if his is starving he may not but though he is starving but as a mature he will keep his personality aside and salute. Thus the world is based on personality, self interest, maturity, way of thinking, his dependancy, his personal guts.
Even the people who announced, just check up there intention in depth,
India is progressing, developing, but based on personality and not in team, circumstances and not in welfare, compulsion and not in social development, politics and not proffessional,
But it is a good topic for media, polititian, it is new venture for generating new economy, I must say such chapters must be on to generate more and more economical stand for common men to earn bread at least.

Thanks,
K. T. Gandhi
