Ok so i just started going out with my man last wednesday. i met a new guy on friday. he knows i have a boyfriend. we were hanging out the whole weekend and i like him a little and he really likes me. He told me about his family and about him and he wants what i want to settle down. Mind you he's 25 i'm 18 and my boyfriend is 18. to the point were i didn't know if i should leave my boyfriend for this guy or wat. So i believe we met for a reason but i think it might be hoe status if i leave my man for someone else that i really don't know like that. Because he could be a cheater i don't know. And i know my man isn't and i can't be with both because it is a small environmtent. we live in job corps. rumors get around fast. I think i should just wait and see things out. If it was meant to be it'll happen right??

well i think its better to date a guy your age then to have someone that is much older. i wouldnt leave your boyfriend.. because you might be making a mistake. because older guys seem to go back to older woman.., I think you know already what you should do.. if i were you. I would wait and see how things turn out.. nobody likes regrets hanging on their shoulders.

You're only 18 and have years left to enjoy your single status before settling down. Since you just started going out with your man on Wednesday, and met this other guy on Friday, you shouldn't consider a serious relationship with either one. How well do you really know either of them? I understand that your environment is small and you don't have much opportunity for dating a lot of other men, but you won't be in job corps forever. I think you should tell both guys that you aren't ready for a steady relationship with either one yet. Wait until you are out of job corps and see what your options for the future are then. Don't make any hasty decisions at your age - you could end up regretting it later on.

The 25 year old may be older and SOMEWHAT more mature than your 18 year old boyfriend, but he may well be manipulating you for his desires then drop you. If it's meant to be, it will happen. If not, then you are far better off. If you are so faithless as to stray, though, you must not really love your 18 year old boyfriend so much. You should either make up your mind to be faithful or go ahead and leave him before you destroy his life as well as yours. You are fearful that the 25 might be a cheater, and you are considering cheating yourself, right?

if you're interested in guy #2, then be certain guy #1 is out first. whatever you do, don't sleep with both of them at the same time, and try to allow a VERY clear cut end to one before you start the other. because you work in a fishbowl.
in regards to guy #2, try to remember all the glitters is not gold.
in regards to guy #1, no one really expects 18 yo boyfriends to be 'the one.' but if it only took meeting and talking to someone else for 2 days to turn your head, you may as well do both of you a favor and graciously dump him now. graciously.
on the other hand, you're only 18, so it's so very unlikely mr. interesting is not "the one" either. plus, for all you know, guy #2 may yap on with every cutie he meets, you have no way to check his references, right? you're in the job corp and away from all his and your extended networks, right?

I think sometimes we look at other guys and think that they are wonderful, they are better than our boyfriends, but actually, because you don't live with them, you don't know all of their bad habits. I have some advice for you. You have to think carefully about the guy you met. You don;t know much about him and it's just your feelling. No one is perfect. Are u sure he loves you or he only likes you? Are u ready to leave your boyfriend to go out with this guy, there will be your mistake if your boyfriend really loves you and that guy only likes you. You should be asking these questions before you become steady with your b/f. However, you are still young and its not too late for you to remain uncommitted for the time being.
Get to know as many people as you could without committing yourself first. Then you won't be in the dilema of wondering if you should take the risk of breaking up and partnering someone new who comes along. When we are young, we may not be matured enough to effectively assess and decide on the right partner for us. So, give yourself several more years of developing friendships, before deciding. When the right one comes along, you will have no doubts!
