What your guy needs from you is not money or gifts. If you really like him and want to help him, you should be encouraging him in his efforts to get a job. Make sure that he does not lose his self-esteem. His refusal indicates that he still has his self-esteem, so it is a good show of his integrity. Praise him for his confidence in himself and let him know that you are very sure that his unemployment is only temporary. Because of your confidence in him, you are sticking with him. I think your man has a good future. Don't give up on him!

i've got genuinely been interior the comparable boat you're sitting in now. supply it an afternoon or 2, then wreck it to him in a fashion that isn't be able to harm his emotions -- tell him that on the instant, you appreciate being single (even though while you're contained accessible for a boyfriend) and which you have issues on your plate, that on the 2d, require just about all your interest (instructions or profession or own endeavors). i've got been single for a while now, and have used this form of excuse legitimately on assorted events. i think of that once you're youthful, it fairly is stable to be egocentric. with the help of that I mean, it fairly is stable to speculate in your self wholeheartedly. once you place money right into a relationship, your concentration is now not narrowed on in simple terms your aspirations, yet you and your companions. And on a similar time as relationships might nicely be a great deal effective for some, it fairly is actual that usually relationships might nicely be a worry to a minimum of one's chief end. So no count if or not you're finding for a boyfriend on the 2d, i think of that in case you proportion this reasoning as to why you at the instant are not involved, the suitor in question can basically admire your force and determination to guard your person desires. particular, it would make him extra involved in you, yet he will understand you're off limits. stable good fortune the two way. it fairly is annoying to discover the grace to handle those style of eventualities at circumstances, yet once you remind him you may prefer to maintain a friendship, it would soften the blow very plenty.

Because love you have a nice bloke there!. Even if he is out of work he still has his pride, and doesn't want you to think that you are only there as a meal-ticket, believe me there are plenty of blokes out there that would grab every penny you give them and even expect you to pay for everything - I've met them. So count yourself lucky, your bloke seems like a nice guy who won't take advantage of you, he is just having a bad time just now, stick with him and encourage him - he will get another job.

Take care.

What would you do if the situation was reversed? Pride is part of the answer but so is self-esteem. Society views the defination of an adult as one who can provide and be independent. Be happy that your boyfriend wants to provide for himself and not use you. The best way to support him is just to be there for him. It's sometimes hard to do.

Yes, pride. Then again we know for everything we receive, we must give back. So when it all goes to hell, we don't want to hear "Remember when I got you." or "That belongs to me" When we buy girls thing, we don't care if you keep, we are more detached.
