Sometimes after the onset of puberty, symptoms are less apparent, hence the reason people think it is possible to "outgrow" it but the answer is no, you don't outgrow it.

They do if you get them away from therapy! ADHD is another of those made-up disorders designed to sell drugs to children. Children are naturally energetic and exuberant, and it's exhausting for adults. So the adults put the kids on drugs to calm them down (while at the same time telling the kids to just say no to drugs). If the problem is the adults can't keep up the kids, it makes more sense to give the drugs to the adults to speed them up to the level of the kids, doesn't it!

Try taking your kid's drugs yourself and see if you don't find the ADHD just disappears like magic!

They don't grow out of it, the problems change thats all, they mature socially slower that they're peers. This leaves them vunerable to being the butt of poor taste jokes as they tend to take things on face value. When they enter employment they experience difficulty being told what to do especially if they can see a better way of doing things and as we know some people cannot take the honest approach especially those who are senior!!, Medication at this stage does'nt work the same (I don't know why this is) perhaps its hormonal as the adult hormones kick in maybe it disrupts the effects of the drugs?

It is possible that as a child reaches adulthood the ADHD will not be as bad but they probably won't grow out of it.

Not really, but as they grow older and become more mature they do learn how to handle their tempers better. Find a support group near you, there will be others there who can share experiences and tips.

As they get older they learn to cope better with it and learn that being disruptive is Not social behaviour. Medication will help.
