To get answers you have to actually ask a question first!

Could you expand on the question so we can answer it?

There is a massive recruitment drive for Police Community Support Officers at the moment. I think most of the recruiting for police officers is suspended - PCSO's seem to be the way forward for the powers that be at the moment - and believe me, I have NOTHING against them - it's just that we DO need more police officers TOO!

If you are asking about being a police officer with a view to becoming a neighbourhood police officer, you will have to join as a Police Officer and then, after 18 months or so, express your interest in/or apply for a position as a neighbourhood officer/beat bobby!!

Hope this helps but not sure quite what you are asking.

I'm sorry, but there is no Home Office Police. Try going to your local Police service's website. www.police.uk
