Many of us have had this problem. It's your parents who decide, and they are right, because they will have to take care of the dog despite what you say. Don't get a dog, because it might end up in the street if your parents don't want it. You'll get one when you grow up and have your own house. In the meantime, spend your time learning english better.

Respect your parent's wishes, they know what's best. When you are older and live in your own house, you can do as you wish.Right now ,if your parent's find it o.k., go volunteer at a dog rescue group or an animal shelter. All these dog's want and need the loving touch and voice of humans. You could make a big difference in the life of many animal's. Good luck to you.

There's always good reasons for having or not having a dog, but your parent should always rule. I didn't get a dog until I graduated from college, got a job and got my own place. There's alot of work involved with having a dog.
It costs about $1,000 annually for her medical insurance payments and annual physical & dental checkup. And I'm not calculating the cost of food. (One time my dog had an allergic attack, and had to stay overnight at Animal Hospital. It cost $1,000, not including the cost of the medicine.)

Well if you still live with your Parents they can tell you what to do.
When you get older they may consider it but until that time listen to what your parents have to say.
Having a puppy is a huge responsibility, you must feed and water it and play with it. And when it gets older you must take it walking.
When you are much older you will understand why your parent don't want you to have a dog just yet.
Show them that you are responsible and maybe they will allow you to have one don't give up just yet.

Okay, I know that I may sound like a jerk when I say this...but I did this and it worked. On the Nintendo DS (a handheld system), there's a game called Nintendogs. You basically get a puppy, raise it, walk it, feed it, the whole nine yards. You could convince them into getting you that. You would have a puppy, and they wouldn't be cleaning up the winter coat. Everybody wins.

you'll have to wait until you move out on your own-otherwise do some volunteer service at the humane society or offer some dog walking in your neighboorhood
