Swimming with/messing with wild deadly animals is stupid

It is stupid to swim with dangerous creatures, stupid to risk your life doing things that can cause serious injury and/or death, just for the thrill, "it makes you feel alive", a quote that can lead to death. There is a difference between an accidental death..ie an auto accident or other daily thing in regular life

Stupid is a relative term. What you deem stupid, someone else does not. So, who is to say who is stupid and who isn't? And no, they don't deserve to die. That is a ridiculous conclusion. You can die driving your car. So, is that a stupid thing to do? You could slip in the shower and die. So, showering is stupid? You could choke on your food. Uh oh, now eating is stupid. There are many ways one can die. What option do we have? Live life or hide out in a closet?

The person you're referring to was an important person when it comes to wildlife conservation. His work was important and he was enthusiastic about it. It was risky but look at the good it has done for the animals he was passionate about. You may see it as stupid but I see it as someone who did something with his life and made an impact. What have you done? I mean besides asking stupid questions.

I don't think you deserve to die because you've done something stupid everybody does something stupid at some point in their lives. Messing with wild animals is a stupid thing to do if you don't know what your doing or don't know how to handle them.

Do they DESERVE to die? That depends. Were they a non-professionall and aware of the possible dangers of their act of stupidity BEFORE they comitted it? If so, then; Thankfully YES!!
I say thankfully because I subscribe to the Darwinian Award theory that Stupid people, commiting fataly stupid acts only IMPROVES the human species by eliminating themselves of any connection to it.

Being stupid and doing stupid things are completely different.

The most stupid person around can have more common sense than the most brilliant so will do less stupid/dangerous thing.

Perhaps they don't deserve to die, but they should definitely not have children and pass along their stupid genes. If by 'stupid' you mean those "X-treme!!" type dudes, then at the very least, they should have to pay for their own rescues when they get trapped and avalanced and sh*t.

I don't think anyone "deserves" to die. I am sure Steve knew he was living a risky life and it must have been worth it to him.

we can all agree that everyone dies right?
so pondering whether or not someone "deserves" to die seems like a silly thought at best or a damn evil one at its worst, i.e. nazi's deciding that jews, gypsies, jahovah's witness desereved to die.
